Investigations upon the influence of fusarium toxins on the fattening performance from swine with inclusion of a binding substance for mycotoxins

Fattening pigs had been fed a ration enriched with 3,0 mg DON, 0,25 mg ZEA and 0,15mg Nivalenol per kg during the whole time of the fattening period. Under the experimental conditions there was no significant effect of living weight gain, of animal health and of the proofed mycotoxin neutralisator. It is concluded that mycotoxin concentrations, which are less than orientation values of the BMVEL will not lead to depressions of animal’s health and livestock efficiency.
