The first step of domestication of pigs took place in the area of the so called “Fertile Half Moon” (Hither Asia) at 7800 years BC. After results of archeozoology are other centres South East Asia, China (7th millennium BC) and South Sweden (2400 years BC). Other local domestication areas are not significantly. From Middle East pigs disseminated to Egypt, India and to Balkan peninsula by people. House pigs expanded to Middle Europe about the Mediterranean Sea and along the great rivers after 5500 years BC. First Polynesian immigrants took house pigs by boat to Oceania (after 4500 years BC). After 1500 AC firstly European house pigs are transported to America, Australia and partly in Africa.
